Why Toads Are Classified As Ambivalent
Entry for 2016-04-19

I make my way, untutored toad,
without recourse to map or road,
unerring in my own abode,
     my forest of confusions

Logicians lay in wait for me
and calculate behind which tree;
me, safe, through relativity
     from multiple contusions

I, hopping, plop on roots and through
dark thickets, leaping where no shoe
has walked, I jump astutely to
     all the wrong conclusions
